Authentic Pilates Canada™ offers comprehensive Pilates teacher education through seminars, apprenticeship, independent study, and examinations that make up 700 hours of training. In addition to the Comprehensive Teacher Education program we offer a Bridging Program catering those with previous training. In this leading apprenticeship, you will learn the complete Classical Pilates repertoire on all of Joseph Pilates apparatus including the Reformer, Cadillac, Mat, Chairs, Barrels, and many others.
A first of its kind, we offer Group Equipment Pilates teacher training. This certification which has 300 hours of training qualifies the teacher to teach the Pilates Reformer, Cadillac/Tower/Wall Unit, the Pilates Mat work and a variety of the small accessory apparatus up to the intermediate level. For teachers considering eventually doing a comprehensive education in Pilates, this is an excellent first step which allows you to earn income whilst working toward their Comprehensive Education.
We also offer a Mat Plus Pilates Certification which has 150 hours of training and qualifies the teacher to teach the Pilates Matwork as well as a variety of the small accessory apparatus including the Magic Circle, hand weights, and toe corrector. For teachers considering doing the entire Comprehensive program, this is an excellent first step which will allow them to earn some income while they are working towards their Comprehensive Education.

Your Pilates education does not end with the completion of Comprehensive Teacher Training – we offer continuing education credits.
We use traditional Pilates apparatus, including Universal Reformers, a Cadillac, a Ladder Barrel, and a Wunda chair, Arm Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Small Barrel, Magic Circle, Pedipole, Push-up Handles, Toe Corrector, Neck Stretcher, Foot Corrector, Breathasizer, and Sandbags.
